RAUL MARTINEZ, P.E.

RAUL MARTINEZ, P.E. President / Owner of ALR Engineering Inc., provides broad civil engineering and construction experience in the region (Southern Arizona and Northern Sonora). He has worked for 30 years in civil design, hydrology, structural and construction projects. He is licensed in the State of Arizona and Mexico. He is bilingual and provides a bridge to our multicultural environment in Southern Arizona. He specializes in site design, utilities design, drainage design, retaining wall design and small structural design. He is a licensed building contractor and his experience includes construction and design for warehouses, fire stations, residential subdivisions, and other commercial and residential sites, Mr. Martinez has been the project manager of all his construction and engineering projects that have been completed to the present day and will continue to do so for any future projects with government and or private clients, his experience includes approved projects in Pima County, Marana, City of Nogales, and Santa Cruz County.

JUAN C. GUERRA, P.E., M.M., C.F.M.

Juan C. Guerra, PE, MM, CFM, Mr. Guerra is a Professional Civil Engineer registered in the State of Arizona, USA and all states in Mexico with over 20 years of working experience as a designer in civil engineering and public works projects. The areas of design responsibility included subdivision plats, drainage improvements (storm drains, channels, and detention basins), utility design and relocation (water and sewer), subdivision development and design project management. Mr. Guerra is a Certified Floodplain Manager and holds a master’s degree in management from the University of Phoenix. He is currently working as City of Nogales Engineer.

FRANCISCO JACINTO

Francisco Jacinto, Francisco is the Director of Geotechnical Services for Pattison Evanoff Engineering. He has 18 years’ experience in the fields of geotechnical engineering and soils testing in Southern Arizona, the last 9 with Pattison Evanoff Engineering and the first 9 with Western Technologies Inc. His experience includes services for both public and private clients for a wide variety of projects including commercial and industrial facilities, highways, schools, residential subdivisions, recreational facilities, and airports. His role at Pattison Evanoff includes management of the geotechnical department, oversight of all geotechnical projects, and client contact.

FRED BENEDICT R.L.S.

Fred Benedict R.L.S., Mr. Benedict has over 45 years of varied experience as surveyor and licensed surveyor, he has been serving Patagonia Arizona, Nogales Arizona, and Santa Cruz County Arizona ever since. His experience includes urban, rural and subdivision lot surveys. Create legal descriptions for parcels, ingress, egress, drainage, and Utility easements. Provide site as built for engineers and architects. Site layout for new construction (site, structures, and roadways). Subdivision design in collaboration with Licensed Civil Engineer. Horizontal and vertical control for aerial photogrammetry.

MICK MATHIEU

Mick Mathieu – Mathieu Engineering Corp. – Mr. Mathieu has 34 years’ experience managing projects in the areas of traffic engineering, ADOT Highway Encroachment Permit expediting, roadway and airport design including traffic control plans and construction, and construction administration/quality assurance for various clients including the City of Tucson, the City of Nogales, the City of Sierra Vista, the City of Casa Grande, Pima County, Santa Cruz County, Cochise County, Maricopa County, Yuma County, ADOT, Maricopa DOT, and the Town of Marana. He has established relationships with Project Managers in these agencies both in and outside the work environment. Mr. Mathieu’s areas of design experience include horizontal and vertical design, geometric layout, pavement design, traffic signal design, pavement marking and signing design, traffic control plans, earthwork and plan quantities take-off construction phasing plans, cost estimates, Special Provisions, Traffic Engineering Reports, Traffic Impact Analysis Reports, coordination with subconsultants, utility coordination, and quality control of design plans.

YGNACIO A. COPPOLA R.A., A.I.A.

Ygnacio A. Coppola, RA, AIA Mr. Coppola has over 35 years’ experience in the architectural profession and 27 years as a registered Architect. His firm Esquema Architecture was established in 1993. His roots in southern Arizona have allowed him to understand the languages and culture of the border region. He is a registered in the state of Arizona and Sonora, putting into practice his knowledge and skill in working on projects on both sides of the border. His skills lie in the full design process of projects from site planning through building design and documentation, as well as construction administration. Mr. Coppola has a variety of project experiences and client insight. This experience includes high end multifamily residential projects, Commercial and Retail projects, Education facilities, religious structures, Industrial facilities, as well as custom residential projects. In 2008, Mr. Coppola became one of the first American Architects to get registered to practice Architecture in the State of Sonora Mexico.
